We needed a place to park our RV that was secure because we had our catalytic converter stolen while parked in our driveway. We were thrilled when the helpful Shannon found a place for us! We can rest easy knowing our HaRVy is safe at Sharp!

This is a top notch storage facility. It is far superior to nearby competition. Everything is in pristine condition. The pavement is smooth, the gate works good, the garage doors look great and come with an automatic door opener. They have many sizes to choose from, as well as an option for climate controlled units. Outdoor storage is also available. Easy access right on hwy10.

Friendly staff and clean place. Very secure and convenient place to keep my boat. I would recommend anyone with an RV or Boat to store it here - great prices too.
Frequently Asked Questions About Sharp Storage Boat & RV - South
Do you pro-rate my rent if I vacate my unit, even though I’m paid up until my next due date?
Ramsey Mini Storage rents units on a month-to-month basis. By signing the lease agreement, you agree to pay each month’s rent in full, even if it’s a few days or weeks into the month.
Why do I need to give a 30 day written notice?
This allows Ramsey Mini Storage time to place advertisements and show units to prospective tenants when your unit becomes available.
What if I have to move out now, and I couldn’t give a notice?
We realize there are many unfortunate circumstances that can happen. If your rent is current, you can move out immediately. If it is not, you will need to pay the rent in full before moving out. In either circumstance, the security deposit will not be refunded if there wasn’t a 30 day written notice given.
When I do vacate my unit, do I need to tell you or can I just leave?
It is recommended that you stop at the office. Charges against your account will continue to accrue until we find out you have vacated your unit. By checking out with the Manager, you will stop all charges for your unit.
When do I get my security deposit back?
All security deposits will be mailed to you within 30 days of move out. Make sure the Manager has your most current address.
Is there a place to dispose of my garbage?
No. All items brought into the facility must be removed when tenant vacates the premises.
Can I work on my car in my unit?
No. Ramsey Mini Storage rents “dead” storage space only. Also, any mechanical equipment that leaks is not allowed. Fabrication, manufacturing, assembly and selling are strictly prohibited. The use of any equipment creating noise, requiring power or tapping into Ramsey Mini Storage’s power outlets is strictly prohibited.
How much space will I need?
There are several things to think about when you rent a storage space. You can rent either a standard space or a climate controlled space, based on the items you are storing. It's a good idea to stop in and look at several spaces. Think about how you'll arrange your items. Ask if there's a larger or smaller size, in case you need it. If the space is available, it takes just a few minutes to transfer your reservation to the new size.
Our storage managers will help you find the space that is the best value and meets your needs. Monthly rates are based on the size of your space, not how much is stored inside. Remember, an efficiently packed small space will cost less than a larger space.
How should I store things?
You will want to pack your space carefully. Make sure all small items are in a box or plastic container. Leave air space around the outside to help air move. Do not lean items against the walls. It's a good idea to place a pallet on the concrete floor. You'll want to place frequently used items near the door and put your valuables away from the door, out of sight. Fill boxes completely because partly filled boxes collapse when stacked. Place heavy boxes on the bottom and lighter boxes or fragile items near the top.
Keep upholstery off the floor. Do not wrap or tightly cover furniture in plastic. Allow space between the fabric and a cover. If you have a lot of boxes, use sturdy shelving to keep fragile items on a firm surface and to distribute weight. Shelves let you organize your belongings and sometimes get a smaller space.
How do I choose a storage center?
It's best to call first and ask questions. Ask about high tech security, quality steel and concrete construction, convenient access and location. Is the storage center near your home or work? Is it close to a major road or highway?
After your call, you should stop in and see things for yourself. As you tour, make sure the buildings and grounds are clean and well-maintained. Check out more than one size space and think about how you'll arrange things. Look for security cameras, sturdy fences and plenty of lighting. See if your space will be easy to get to and if you'll be moving with a large vehicle, check on truck accessibility. Talk to the storage manager and discover what services are offered.
Work with a reliable company, with a good reputation. Whether it's a move to a new home or storage for business, you want to choose the storage center that will help you get the job done.
Do I need to insure my property?
When you rent a self-storage space, you are the only one who knows what you are storing. Since it is your property, you are responsible for the insurance. Check with your homeowner's or renter's insurance to verify coverage. Self-storage providers are, by contract and by law, not responsible for any loss or damage of property and do not provide any insurance on stored property.
