- JOJill OlsonSep 23, 20151.0Please take care when doing business with this company. They built/own and will operate the Anoka Mini Storage on Bunker, as well as Ramsey mini storage. They have very little respect for the community, and worse, when in the mini storage business no respect for the property of others. I live adjacent to the new Anoka storage facility. During their demolition to build the Anoka storage facility my fence was damaged...minor damage but my family witnessed the machinery rip a portion of a board off our fence. I knew it was an accident but still expected the company to take responsibility. The subcontractor initially denied causing the damage but recanted when he saw that 7 people had witnessed him do it. I had 2 phone conversations with Dennis Sharp from Sharp and Associates. It was not until the second one he agreed to pay for the repair. During these calls he lied to me and made ridiculous threats. He then proceeded to get his own estimate for the project...which makes sense to me. What didn't make sense is that after giving me the estimate he stated he would only pay about 60% of the estimate that he,himself gave me! After I informed him that I would write my experience as a review and also had informed the city of his behavior..he actually went onto my property without my permission or knowledge and 'fixed' the fence...although an incomplete/ sloppy job. I still had to spend my own money and time to properly fix the damage. This man continually contradicted himself...in writing and had no issue stating blatant untruths. I would use caution in patronizing his businesses, given his lack of integrity. There are other storage options out there where you can be assured that the company will take responsibility for their own mistakes and treat your property with respect.
