We went here last night we had no wait at 5:00pm but got really crowded around 7pm. Justine knew the menu well knew what drinks were frozen if they had non alcoholic heinikin and what all came with the platter my mom and dad got. She also came by several times and ask about the food and if wanted more drinks. I got the Mahi tacos I will admit the first was slightly fishy but the other one was great the blackened shrimp was awesome. The place is right off the beach and the sunset view and the live music was great price are slightly high but it's Panama so. Highly recommend this place but come early or you will wait.

I went to Sharky’s with family and the food was pretty good. I tried a steak which came back a bit more raw than I expected. When I asked if they can cook it a little more they brought out the same piece. Usually they fire a new one at most restaurants so it wasn’t a huge deal (it just wasn’t actually cooked anymore in my opinion). Everyone else’s meals looked amazing though and they said they were delicious. As for appetizers, the calamari was so good, as well as the smoked tuna dip. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. All in all, we would definitely eat here again when we’re back in town. I also recommend eating outside because it’s right off the beach and the views are beautiful!

Sharky's is centrally located at the heart of Front Beach and provides a perfect view of the beach while you dine. Food quality has remained consistently great over the years but the thing that brings me back is the service. Personable, courteous, and prompt, I have never felt rushed anytime I've been here. Be sure to try the redfish Antigua, it's a real home run of a dish. Also, ASK FOR GREGORY! He was by far the best server we had the entire trip here and is amazing at his job

Went here and I have to say, this place has mediocre food for too high of a price. I had a Hawaiian-Style chicken dish with cheese slices and pineapple rings that I could've made at home with the right amount of desire to cook and it would've come out the same-to the tune of about 24 dollars before tax. It's a good thing my girlfriend's drink was good because without that, they wouldn't have much going for them at all.
That being said, I cannot give enough props to my waiter and the front-of-house in general. My waiter changed the game to my NFL team that was playing that night when his own team was playing the other game when I'm here on vacation hundreds of miles from home. Service was prompt, courteous and friendly. 5 stars to them. I cannot say the same for the food and please, please, PLEASE be kind to them. It's not their fault that the food is not what you pay for. Tip them for their service, not for the food.

After eating at Sharky's about three years ago, I posted a review of 3 stars, said the food was just OK and that the only redeeming factor was the Iceberg Lettuce Wedge Salad. We decided to give Sharky's another try on Saturday, 9/27/25. And, as a result, I'll maintain my rating of 3 stars (or maybe 2.5 at the most).
After seeing a few posts that the Redfish Antigua was the supreme dish, I thought I'd give it a try. My wife and SIL were with me. My SIL ordered the smoked tuna dip. It was good, but not the best I've ever had. She ordered the wedge salad for her entree and it looked magnificent. My wife ordered the blackened grouper sandwich and she seemed to really enjoy it.
I, on the other hand, was definitely not happy with the Redfish. While it was cooked perfectly, the blackening was literally bland. I had to ask for cocktail sauce just to give it some reasonable amount of flavor. The accompanying mashed potatoes were even less flavorful -- basically a bland mound of flavorless mush. I've had discount store instant potatoes that had a better consistency and flavor.
I know that Sharky's is one of those beachy gathering places for vacationers, but I cannot believe the number of 5 star ratings I see on Google. The prices are way too high for mediocre food served in a crowded, very loud atmosphere.
My recommendation -- go somewhere else unless you want to pay for beach side dining. Oh, one more thing, the early live music was garbage.
