  Every time I've ordered online, the order has been delivered with items missing and Shake Shake Shake is totally unresponsive. No refunds, no redelivery, not even an apology. My last order ($80 for three people - and that without drinks) arrived with missing items and the onion rings were dumped in upside down and scattered throughout the bag. There are also no keto options, which would be so easy to add. Burgers are large and greasy, which is what I want from time to time, but it's not worth the poor service and high price.

  Great atmosphere, love the decor,. Staff are friendly and prompt with service. Decor is reminiscent of a 1950's soda fountain, and there are plenty of milkshakes to choose from, and if course root beer floats. Burgers are great, if a little in the salty side, but meat is fresh tasting and not underdone. All in all, cute hole in the wall kinda place to eat at, take your kids or go on a simple date.

  Was really craving a chili dog and since there are only a few Weinerschnitzel’s within the Seattle area it was the choice of coming here to support a small mom and pop shop or a franchise. (This place is located in Tacoma not Seattle if that wasn’t already clear) From the photos it looked like a fun place to stop. Street parking is limited but not impossible to find. At first appearance it has a very nostalgic feeling, I initially liked it. As you walk in there is a counter top that’s reminiscent of 50’s era dining. Although that’s where it ends. The overall shop was kind of dingy, felt like it hadn’t been cleaned since the 70’s. Some light bulbs out, pretty dusty all around. But I was here for the chili dog! Push through and make me happy….! Nope, I ordered a chili dog and strawberry shake since its name was shake shake shake so why not? Food took 25 min to come, bun was cold, chili was luke warm cheese was cold and unmelted. Presentation was horrible but I was hungry. Ate through it unimpressed. Shake didn’t come until 35 min later. I was pretty much done eating at that point. Shake was bleh. Had a cup of water while I was waiting for everything prior to that. I’ve had better tasting water out of a garden hose. Not sure if they haven’t changed the water filters out of the soda machine or they just really crappy water. All in all it looked like a fun experience but was a bleh 2 star experience. Food was bleh, no service (all order yourself and they just bring the food to you) you have to bus your own tables. Has potential to be a great neighborhood spot, but needs a lot of work to get there. Would not hurry back anytime soon… go to Weinerschnitzel if you need to fulfill your craving.

  Went here many years ago and it was great but a lot has changed. You almost feel like a burden to the staff when walking in. No smiles, no welcome, nothing. Should have walked out at this point as it sets the tone. Burgers were made way too quick and they are thin meat patties and flavorless with too much thick dry potato bun. My 8 year old even said it was too much bread and not good…I could make a way better burger at home as it felt slopped together and very cheap. Now, the shakes - which were made by a staff member who looked as though they didn’t want to be there…the shakes used to come in glass with the side metal carafe but now they are just in plastic and overloaded with whip cream and very messy. I ordered chocolate banana and there was absolutely no banana in the shake. I could also complain about the fries and onion rings…for lack of better words - I won’t be back. Cute decor but unfortunately there are far superior burger places in tacoma.

  Really wanted to have a better experience with this place since the atmosphere is cute and they can accommodate dietary restrictions. However, the couple times I've put in an online order through their website, they don't seem to start making the food until I show up to pick it up, no matter how far in advance I place the order. The last time I got home after waiting only to find they'd left out my extra fries. Disappointing experience after paying ~$50 for a couple burgers and fries.
