Nice selection of flowers and other plants. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! I enjoyed shopping there and plan on going back each year to add to my flower garden's!

I had heard Shaffers had good prices on veggy plants. I'm tired of spending so much money at walmart and lowes per plant that I decided to try them out. I called and spoke to a very nice young man who quoted me prices and didnt mind one bit helping me. Couple days later I arrived at their location and spoke to a lady at the register. She was very pleasant and directed me to the tomatoe plants and other veggies! I picked out several different plants I wanted and also got my wife some Gerber Daisy's and the selection was so large I was pleased. The plant quality was great also. I really appreciated the help from these nice folks and will definitely be back to give them my business. Thank you so much. It was my pleasure.

What a shame. Started shopping, had flowers picked out and a lady approached us and curtly told us we needed to leave because they weren't open yet and pointed us to the door. We replied that we didn't realize they weren't open yet. (Google shows their hours as 9-5 on Sunday, and we called before we went to make sure they were open. The man who answered was so nice and said yes, we're open today.) The lady then asked if we saw the hours on the door that said they open at 1. She told us to put our flowers down and come back in at 1. At the time it was 12:30. We drove 30 min to get there and were made to feel like our business wasn't wanted. We're so sorry we wanted to buy your flowers too early! I'm not sure why she was so mean about a misunderstanding or why she was so upset we were quietly walking around picking out flowers, but it sure isn't the way i was raised to run a business and treat customers. And I grew up in the same kind of business! We bent over backwards for our customers as that is the heart of a business! Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a business. If she would've just nicely pointed out that we were too early, we would've waited until they opened, but we left and will never go back. I've been there many times and usually spend about $200. Please change your hours on Google and reconsider how you treat people who were trying to patronize your business.

Great selection of good-sized ferns, flowers, vegetables, & herbs even early in the season. Great prices, very helpful owners/ staff - and hard-to-find native perennial flowers, too.
