  Megan designed our kitchen and did an incredible job. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed flawlessly. She spent so much time ensuring everything was perfect, checked in frequently during construction to keep things on track, and was always quick to respond with answers and thoughtful opinions. She also has great relationships with the contractors she works with, which made the process even smoother. Thanks to her organization, our project actually finished on schedule—which, from what we’ve heard, is almost unheard of for a renovation this size! Every detail of our kitchen turned out perfect, and her eye for design is truly exceptional. We highly recommend her!

  Megan has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She created a space that I truly love - one I could never have put together on my own. The furniture she selected is mostly American-made and of higher quality than anything I’ve ever owned before. I began working with her in November 2024, and the project (furnishing and decorating the entire house, practically) has been ongoing for about six months now. For anyone considering hiring an interior designer, here are a few details I would have found helpful before starting: * Cost: Expect to spend around 20–25% of your home’s market value. Make sure you have the budget saved up in advance. I paid for most of the furniture in one lump sum - it wasn’t a pay-as-you-go arrangement. * Process: The typical flow goes like this: initial consultation → design proposal → furniture selection and ordering → painting → furniture delivery (this takes the longest!) → finishing touches like art and draperies. As someone who had never worked with a designer before and who grew up very middle class, I really appreciated how patient and clear Megan was throughout the entire process. She made me feel comfortable and informed every step of the way.

  Opposites attract... just like my husband and my decorating tastes. We hired Megan to be the leader (and often tie breaker) in updating our house on the water in a coastal/ nautical theme. She guided us to pick out our favorite things and incorporated all of the elements we wanted. When patterns did not seem to match, somehow Megan's magic touch made it work. We couldn't love it more! After buying an old rowhouse in Washington DC, we hired her again. She has managed to make it our city oasis. She has awesome taste, great ideas and the best vendors to get the job done. As an added bonus, she is very nice and extremely easy to work with. If I get another house, Megan from Seriously Sari will be my first call. Megan specializes in making your home beautiful one room at a time!

  Working with Megan has been an incredible experience. It’s refreshing to have someone listen to your family’s daily lifestyle needs and personal style to then fully transform your space into something functionally gorgeous. We hired Megan to help us create the things we never knew we needed to make our home more functional with two young boys and she surpassed our expectations. Megan couldn’t be more prompt, professional, understanding, and such a pleasure to work with. She was present every step of the way.
