  My wife and I have had a great experience with the New Braunfels SSB office as well as with Christina Hobson who works in the Marble Falls SSB branch office. We have been working with SSB for about four years. Our first positive experience was with a land loan from SS B for a lot on Lake Travis that we intended to build on but subsequently sold. We decided to buy a home in New Braunfels instead and Christina and her local team financed that purchase and closed within 45 days. ( $2 plus million home value ) Recently, we refinanced the SSB loan and Christina secured a great, flexible loan that met all of our needs. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Christina and SSB and have found them to be very responsive as well as having a comprehensive understanding of the residential mortgage market. Maybe best of all, they are just enjoyable folks to work with !

  I attempted to close on an SBA loan with Security State Bank & trust, their closer Kelly Broussard made the entire process impossible. Although I was approved for a million dollar SBA loan the bank themselves would not listen to their own legal department, making the whole 10-month process a nightmare. I do not recommend Security State Bank & Trust for your Lending needs.
