They took forever to respond to questions and communicated poorly with us, our realtor, and the title company. Buying a house is a big deal and they should take it more seriously. Be sure to know everything about mortgages because they won't help you out unless you specifically ask. They made a significant error in our closing documents and never admitted it. After our house finally funded they never got in touch to smooth things over or ask for feedback. In an industry that relies heavily on referrals this is not a very good business model!! If you are shopping but for a mortgage look elsewhere. You deserve a better home buying experience than SSBT can provide.
