We are considering a Richmond home in Hesperia. They have efficient floor plans that maximize the square footage of each house. Salesperson Erin was extremely helpful in explaining the process for building with Richmond. She is from the area and was able to give us lots of helpful information about our potential future home.

I moved into a new house built by Richmond 10 months ago.
I asked about and requested various repairs during the warranty period, but the repairs are so bad that I want to curse them.
The feedback is too slow, and they promised to come, but they sent a non-technical person, and then promised to send another person, and then there was no response.
I have requested repairs 4 times for the same problem, but I have not heard anything.
I want to talk to the president of Richmond directly to ask why they are doing this. And I want to ask when they will solve the problems with the house.
The 4 alarm systems installed on the 1st and 2nd floors go off all the time, late at night and early in the morning, and I am about to explode with emotion.
When will they fix the sliding doors on the 1st floor and finish painting the closets in each room?
I want to get quick feedback on this and talk to the president of Richmond.
If they run the company like this, there will be big problems.

Build quality is ok. These homes come with solar that you have no choice but to pay for or lease. I chose to buy for the tax write off. However, the sells people don't know that most of these homes will not have enough power to run your A/C in the summer. They also don't make it obvious that you will have to pay for landscaping the backyards. They encourage you to use their lender. The lender was a nightmare in itself. This is my 3rd home purchase and I have never had a bad as experience as I did with Home American Mortgage Corp. If I had to do it again I would use a different lender. The application process is the worse I've ever dealt with and the after sells customer service gets zero stars. The only good thing about this company is their construction superintendent.
I told the sales agent. You better be glad I wanted this house! I did not want to lose my $5k deposit. In hindsight I should have bought a Tesla S Plaid so it would have fail out of escrow and would got my deposit back and maybe moved to Texas. It was NOT a good buy experience!!!
Because of their failure to repair my major issues with my garage I have slipped and fail. Been having headaches ever since and because of the epoxy that was put on my floor on the garage I have property damage to my '21 Tesla M3LR and just 1 month old '22 HD Nightster. Anyone who reads this might have better experience than I have. I guess that why there's 4 house un-sold around me.
