  Matt outperformed our expectations! After hiring several contractors Matt was the 1st one to deliver on his word. He provided a realistic estimate and explained the process thoroughly. He arrived on time and transformed our property from overgrown to clear and manageable. We will have him back in the spring to finish and our neighbors are so impressed they will have work done also.   Brush is cut down which was the functional goal of the transaction. The quality of the work is fine and I do believe they worked hard to be thorough. That said: Lost two hours for stuck tractor. No compensation on my “daily rate”. Work day ended at 3PM, expected 5PM or 6PM based on 8-9AM start time. Zero flexibility on the price from the outset. With the full day I thought I was getting, there would have been time to finish two areas of the yard left untouched. However the daily rate somehow got morphed into a “price for the job” along the way and they left when the job was done, rather than giving me an actual day worth of work. Shame on me for not clarifying the definition of a day when it came to expectations/pricing/time.
