    My furance stopped working overnight and when I called I was able to get a same day technician appointment. Technician ran into some trouble but stayed late and provided temporary fix to get us warm until the following day when they could come back due to a leaking part. He did all he could and had his boss on the phone assessing the issue with him. No issues from my end on service

    I am a skeptical individual who wants a good product at a fair price. From the Advisor who explained my situation on a 51 year old furnace and code changing sine 1976, and the 2 young men who showed up on time and the quality work completed in less than a day, and would highly recommend this company.

    Bill and Drew came back to finish up on our furnace/AC replacement. They arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and took exceptional care in ensuring no dirt, leaves or mud was brought into the house by placing runners from the furnace room to our outside door as well as cleaning up after themselves. Their work was completed without issue and the installation of both the furnace and AC unit was neat and clean. Both Bill and Drew were pleasant and professional, answering all questions and asking if there was anything else needed. Their work confirmed my belief that Schaafsma is the best HVAC company in the GR area! Drew and Bill exemplified this through their work and attention to detail.

    We have had issues with our furnace for years, we had a new one installed in 2021 by another company, again yearly still having issues, my husband asked for recommendations from people at work and all said Schaafsma! Our furnace was not working at all and the young man that came out, looked way young, but he assured my husband he knew what he was doing! But we weren’t worried about his age, just hoping he could fix it! It didn’t take him long to figure out the issue and he was able to fix it! His name is Rob McIntyre and this young man is very professional and knowledgeable. He explained things and showed my husband the exact issues! If you need a repair! Call Schaafsma and if you can ask for Rob! I’m sure all their technicians are great, but we were very impressed with him! Thank you Rob and Schaafsma, plus our freezing dogs thank you! We will be nice and warm in this cold fall night!

    Once the technician arrived it was pretty seamless. Nice guy. Knows his stuff. My problem is the the answering AI person. It was a laborious process to get to someone only to be disconnected. The third time I called, I kept saying customer service and finally I talked to Amanda who assisted me by answering my question regarding where my technician was, as he was supposed to have arrived between 8 and 12. The technician arrived shortly after my call. In the future, please call us if there is a delay…we have lives filled with responsibilities.
