  We just moved to the Portland area and stumbled upon this business by accident. We got a great feel about the place initially and our instincts served us well! We had our little Staffordshire Bull terrier Bonbon get the initial grooming package which worked out great. She was shampooed, ears cleaned (very well because they were cropped). The main reason to come here for us was the nail trimming. We were informed of her overall health by appearance, weight, condition of her teeth and skin. We went ahead and purchased a package where she would have these things done on a monthly basis. She came home happy and looking great, nice and shiny. The main thing was she was calm and collected, not stressed or traumatized. That’s important to us. Overall we would highly recommend Scenthound (we went to the Cedar Mills location) for all your grooming needs. A well cared for pup is a happy pup 🐶 🐾

  Called in for info on full service grooming. I, spoke to someone very inexperienced and I hung up with more questions than I started with. Strange but it was a bad first impression

  Quick 15 min pet wash. This includes teeth, ears and nails. If you like to plan your dirty dog hikes around grooming appointments or have a dog bigger than you, this may be a win. Don’t expect to be greeted by smiles and helpful staff that’s a hit or miss. Our small dog doesn’t do well in the leads which is a problem for her trachea. Most groomers opt to carry her back and fort, but not here. Sometimes they offer the upgrades (like nail filing and blow dry) but not always.
