I came in today around 11:45 am and it was crowded. But the line went fast and they were very efficient !!! My mom will be 80 years old in January....With family roots from Crystal Springs, Mississippi and she said these were the best pork ribs she's ever had! I agree! We each got a half a slab! They were sooooo good I forgot to take a picture of them! Mannnnnnn soooo sooo tender! Amazing Sanders! We loved it. We also got Mac and Cheese, and Collard Greens which were delicious! Mac and cheese and collards for $6 for a small side and $10 for a large. Very reasonably priced! The large is massive and can feed 3-4 people. Now the sweet potato cornbread looked amazing visually but fell flat for my mom and I. You have the sugar and the cinnamon, and the butter covering the top of the cornbread and then the sweet potato is kind of layered in the cornbread mix. I think it would taste better if you took some of that topping and put it actually in the cornbread not just on top. Also try roasting the sweet potatoes to kinda give it more flavor. Well at least for my taste lolllllll! However, my son LOVED it! Customer service was amazing, washrooms were clean and for you guys to be busy, the food came out pretty fast!!! You guys deserve five stars!!!! I can't wait to try the other things on the menu. Great job Sanders BBQ! Ya'll better workkkk! ***** Sorry I didn't get a picture of my own ribs, they were so good I smashed them before I could! But as they were making someone's plate, I took a picture of a sampler of some sort because it had sausage and ribs on the plate too! *****Oh and they are cashless!

A must try, but go early because the food will run out. That's how good it is. There was no chicken products when we got there. They do announce it. The line was near the door, not too bad for a rainy day. The line moved pretty fast, about 15 minutes or less from the door entryway. I purchased the Texas Trio which is: beef brisket, 4-5 rib bones with meat of course, sausage, and bread. I don't know why I didn't get the pickles and the pickled onions. I love that. They show that in the picture. Maybe you have to ask for it. Also I think you have to ask for a site of sauce because I didn't have any in the bag. I took mine to go. My husband got the whole slab, baked beans, and fries. I got the corn elote, and the sweet potato cornbread, deliciousness! The meat was tender. The taste was delicious. I love the brisket. The very best. The sausage was a little spicy but delicious. The corn, great tasting, and the sweet potato cornbread oh my God it's delicious and goes really good with your food. If you want to eat there, there's an inside and the outside area. I forgot yesterday was Sweetest Day so that's probably why they ran out of food yesterday. Also, they probably ran out because it's so delicious. You definitely have to try it. Be prepared to pay a little bit more than you would at your local barbecue joint.

I’ve been hearing so much about this place and every time I would pass by the lines were insane. I decided to give them a try today and boy was I disappointed. On the positive side the staff was friendly, the restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is warm, and the presentation of the food was good. I’m a little on the fence about their prices. I think a platter would be your best option because the other menu options can be expensive. Now on to the food itself. I got the $50 platter that feeds two people. The pulled pork was cooked well but was extremely bland. It had no seasoning what so ever. I literally had to drown it in bbq sauce to get some type of flavor. The brisket was overcooked and very dry, it had no moisture or juice. The bark was probably the best part of the brisket. The ribs were cooked great but once again lacked seasoning and flavor. The sausage link was cooked while and had a decent flavor. The Mac and cheese had good flavor but was extremely cheesy and the cheese was very very thick. The bourbon beans were the best thing I had on the whole platter and were seasoned well and flavorful. They had a variety of bbq sauces which all tasted good. The vinegar and the spicy bbq sauces were my favorite choices. Outside of that I wouldn’t go back or recommend this restaurant. I think it’s over hyped. I think if they take the time to really smoke their meats and step it up in the seasoning department they could be better. I went to a bbq place and literally tasted no smoke or bbq seasonings. They are a good addition to the Beverly area and blacked owned, so for that I’m grateful!

Sanders- where the Meat Hits but the Side dishes Miss! Listen — I’m from Chicago, where BBQ is serious business. You really gotta come correct when we’ve grown up on the best BBQ in the Midwest and you’ve got uncles and cousins who’ve been Grill Masters long before grilling with socks and sandals on were a Meme. The first time I tried the Sanders Beef brisket, it was decent. Second time, the brisket nachos were just… there. Nothing to rave about or post on social media. My husband loves the beef brisket, beef rib and smoked cheese burger. The last time when I was there the Chef mention they were going to bring back turkey tips. I returned today 10/9/25 hoping for those turkey tips they promised — still not on the menu. Now, let’s talk about these sides. Collard greens, Mac ‘N Cheese were highly disappointing to my taste buds, and the coleslaw was a crime. I don’t know who threw that slop together? I didn’t know I should have asked, “who made the coleslaw?” IYKYK. Next time, I’ll grab my meat from Sanders and swing by Jewel, KFC, or Popeyes for the sides. This was my third visit to Sanders. The beef brisket and ribs? Bone appetite . Tender, flavorful, good smoke. But that price tag? Whew — as my mama says, “too rich for my blood.” Sanders, I love that you’re a family-owned Chicago spot, and I’m rooting for you — but please, hire somebody’s auntie or uncle to cook the sides dishes. Preferably the one who brings the best mac and cheese and potato salad to the family reunion. You’re welcome.

I so wanted to enjoy the food here. I had heard about it and it was my first visit. First, let me say the customer service is good. When I arrived there was a short line outside but it moved efficiently and I was at the front placing my order in about 15-20 minutes. The cashier was very pleasant. I place my order and waited another 20 minutes or so for my food (it was quite busy). My disappointment came after I got home and found that the potato salad was missing. Tried calling several times to get a credit on my card but no one answered. By the way, they are cashless. I ordered 1/2 pound of brisket. I expected several slices but got two thick slabs of meat which was disappointing. I much prefer the thinner slices. The meat was tender but dry and not very flavorful. I was disappointed since I was really looking forward to the brisket. My daughter loved her wings and my son loved his brisket sandwich. As far as sides, they both loved the mac n cheese and the baked beans. I had collard greens but they were slightly salty, not inedible, just a little salty. I didn't care for the flavor profile of the beans and thought they were just okay. I thought the brisket would come with pickles and the pickled onions I saw when placing my order but found out the next day from a friend that you have to order it separately. By the way, everything is ala carte. Overall, it's not bad but for the price (over $100 with tip) I'm not sure I'll be a frequent customer due to my disappointment with a few items and missing a side. My daughter recommended that next time I should try the wings. It will be a while before I return. Not bad, just not great. Also, I tried to order online the day of but couldn't. They need to work on that.
