Absolutely loved our experience at Sanborn. Our sales representative “San” was clear so easy when explaining the process and highlights of our vehicle choice. Even the final part of the buying process in the F&I office, was effortless.

Exceptional Service from San at Sunburn Chevrolet!
I had an outstanding experience working with San at Sunburn Chevrolet. From the moment I walked in, San greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, answered all my questions with patience, and never once made me feel pressured.
San’s knowledge of the vehicles and his ability to explain features clearly made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure I got the best deal possible and made sure every detail was taken care of before I drove off the lot.
If you're looking for a trustworthy, friendly, and knowledgeable salesperson, San is your guy. I highly recommend him to anyone shopping for a car—you won’t be disappointed!

I brought my son here because I thought there was no way they wouldn’t give him a fair shake. Well, that’s not the case. He was charged $16,000 for a 2018 jeep renegade. He has had it for about 6 months, 2 months ago I had an oil change done on it by my mechanic and he did a basic go over and he told me the transmission has a lot of metal in the fluid which I very bad. One of the tires already blew out. The shop told me all the tires were bad and needed to be replaced. They say it’s a used certified but there is absolutely no way with the things that are bad. You would think I got this from a little used car lot. I was dealing with people who have no integrity at all. Hopefully they will see this and offer to make it right. Because what they did was dead wrong. Whomever is doing their inspections need to go back to school, do a refresher whatever is needed to do the job right. I would recommend if you do want a car from here take to a reputable mechanic and have it checked out before signing anything. Don’t trust their 120 point inspection. These things were overlooked by their mechanic and passed on to my son. I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams that this would even be a possibility considering they are one of the most reputable car lot in lodi. Obviously it wasn’t inspected as it should have been. Sadly disappointing. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

I am surprised by high ratings of Sanborn Chevrolet, but my experience was totally opposite. Since I bought my car from Sanborn I took it there for the first service, in fact I could have taken it to Elk Grove which was much closer to my home. My appointment was around 12:45ish, the service advisor was by himself and it took me a while to talk with him. I told him about my concerns with the vehicle and a missing part from the factory, he told me that I need to reschedule and he will call me to book an appointment once he receives the part. It has been few weeks and I haven't heard back from Sanborn. My vehicle wasn't serviced properly, I had to request for tire rotation they didn't do it automatically. They didn't top off the fluids as well. very disappointed.

Update: The dealership is currently working with me to try to get this resolved
I was looking to lease an EV and I spoke to San, one of the sales persons at this location. They offered me a lease rate for a one pay price over the phone which they initially couldn’t beat a competitor’s price but ended up calling me back to try to earn my business and after I agreed to the price he sent me a link to check my credit with a link to the vehicle details.
Once I received the links I asked him to confirm the numbers we agreed to and if I hadn’t asked him to please confirm the pricing in writing prior to me clicking the submit button for the credit app I would have had an inquiry on my credit and now all of the sudden the lease rate is quadruple the cost of the price they quoted me.
The salespersons excuse is the manager forgot to put a rate in money factor, whatever that means. Unfortunately this is far from being unprofessional. This is actually unethical. If you’re looking to purchase or lease a vehicle please stay away from this location. I will not be doing business with this location. You would think that after they’ve admitted to their mistake they would at least honor the price they quoted me but instead they decide to do nothing about it.
