  Came down at 1 pm on Tuesday to get a couple of grinders…The “Open” signs we’re on but the place was closed…what a waste of time…Clipp should investigate if they are still in business.

  Wow . I come from an Italian family Married into one I should say I have also been an executive chef.. This place is no joke I firmly believe that I just had the best pizza in my life even better than Italy Get a margarita pizza you won’t be disappointed My mouth is still tasting the basil Really amazing Thank you for your pizza

  A Warm, Generous Lunch Stop That Delivers on Every Level While passing through Bridgeport, my dad and I decided to revisit San Remo Pizza & Restaurant at Glendale and Main Street--a place he hadn't been to in about 20 years. Our lunch was a wonderful blend of nostalgia and classic Italian-American comfort. The Overall Experience From the moment we sat down, San Remo made us feel welcome. The waitress who is the owners god daughter was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed--perfect for a midday meal and a trip down memory lane. The Meal * Bread Basket & Garlic Rolls We started with a complimentary bread basket that included not just fresh bread, but also warm garlic rolls. Both were seasoned beautifully, with the garlic rolls in particular offering a savory kick that set the tone for the meal. * Chicken Marsala with Ziti and Salad The Chicken Marsala was tender and flavorful, served in a rich mushroom and marsala wine sauce. The accompanying ziti was generously coated in a classic red sauce--robust and well-seasoned. The fresh salad, topped with a zesty house-made dressing, was crisp and refreshing. * Chicken Parm Grinder The Chicken Parm Grinder was hearty and satisfying, with perfectly toasted bread and a generous amount of cheese and sauce. Like everything else, it was well-prepared and full of flavor. Portion Size & Value The portions were generous across the board, making San Remo a great value for lunch. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and satisfying.
