  Store manager rude, on phone threaned me and said, " leave your $20 and your or get kicked out with your bag"! They should state that if something breaks they don't fix it unless you pay to ship it. Broke 3 days after purchase! Awful customer service-- don't buy here!

  Drove 90 miles, wasted gas and tolls, endured tightly packed congested elevators only to walk away with NO LUGGAGE. I really want to give a NO STAR for this experience!! No greeting upon entering the store, asked two different sales associates questions as we were ready to purchase two extra large pieces for our upcoming vacation. Sales Associates are not only poor but seemed irritated when questions were asked. Samsonite DO BETTER, YOU JUST LOST A BIG SALE!!!

  Sales guys (I didn't catch his name, he was short, long beard, and possible middle eastern descent). Was VERY rude, to me and my husband yesterday, we came in looking for luggage for our upcoming trip. Some of the luggage was quite pricey so I asked him ( while looking at a specific piece). Was there any less expensive pieces in the store, he said no. After looking further, I found a clearance area where there was indeed cheaper luggage available, I brought it up to him to which he got snippy, He was extremely dismissive of my questions and although I like the luggage, I hated his terrible attitude! Me and my husband left and bought our luggage from Nordstrum upstairs (much better customer service). Word to the owners maybe teach your staff to not be horrible to potential customers, nasty attitudes are rarely rewarded with money.

  Was in this store today. I walked in no acknowledgement at all. Was asking questions about carry on luggage. I guess he did not want to be bothered told me I need to call the airline that I am flying on. I then asked what are the ranges of size for carry on, then he mumbled the sizes. If you don’t feel like working , should stay at home.

  1-star – Very disappointing experience at Samsonite, Chicago Fashion Outlet I’m extremely disappointed with the way we were treated at this store. Yesterday, a staff member clearly told us that if we purchased multiple $299 suitcases, he would apply a 10% discount before tax. Based on this information, we reserved several suitcases and returned today to complete our $1,200 purchase. However, today a different staff member told us that no such discount was possible. When we insisted, they called the same man we had spoken to. Shockingly, he acted like he didn’t even know us and kept repeating irrelevant statements like “I can’t reduce the tax, it’s illegal” – completely ignoring what was actually promised. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and consistency here is astounding. We were misled, disrespected, and ultimately left frustrated despite spending over a thousand dollars. Advice to future customers: Do not trust what they say unless you have it in writing. They can and will deny their own words. Definitely not the level of service you’d expect from a global brand like Samsonite
