  I had a problem with my old Samsonite suitcase, the combination lock wouldn't work and I couldn't get it to open. The Samsonite suitcase was at least 20 years old maybe even 25 years old. It was in excellent shape and I didn't want to break it open or throw it away. I tried everything to open it myself. I tried different combinations because my original combination wouldn't work. After trying everything and calling around I decided to call the closest Samsonite store closest to me. I called the store in Ellenton Florida and I spoke to a representative his name was Dallas. He told me to bring the suitcase to the store and he would try his best to open it for me. I called back a couple of days later to find out what time he would be there and I spoke to the manager her name is Kori and she told me the same thing to bring it in and they would both try to open it for me. I couldn't believe how nice and friendly they both were. They treated me like a long time customer or like I was purchasing alot of merchandise. They both took their time trying different combinations because it was a three number combination and since it was an old suitcase it wasn't easy. Dallas tried first with all of his knowledge but if just wouldn't open. Then the manager with her 25 years or more of experience remembered my exact type of suitcase and tried her way of opening my suitcase and she finally got it to open. I couldn't believe it, I was very happy and amazed at how both Dallas and Kori wouldn't give up until they solved the problem and got my suitcase opened and even reset my combination to the number I wanted. Then they both made sure it worked properly by trying it several times and then letting me try myself to make sure I could open it before I left the store. After all that I asked them both what do I owe them and they both said with a smile nothing, that they were just happy to help me to get it open and fix it for me. I highly recommend this store and both Kori and Dallas as they showed me what excellent customer service is all about. Even though my Samsonite suitcase was over 20 years old they both still helped me with no questions asked. I am sorry this is so long but the importance of this review is to let everyone know that excellent customer service is still alive in some places and it's special employees like Kori and Dallas that make it happen and it was my pleasure to meet people like that who want to help people out that need it. I can't thank Kori and Dallas enough for what they did for me. Thanks is not enough, you both deserve a raise in salary or a promotion. Definitely something special for both of you. I will be getting my suitcases and other items from this store as long as Kori and Dallas are there. I will also be spreading the word for both of these two exceptional employees to everyone I know.

  This post includes 2 issues - one positive and one negative. First the positive - this particular location is great. Excellent employee, unbelievably patient with an unhappy customer and lots of stock. The negative is that the reason I was there was that my brand new piece of luggage lost a wheel on my very first trip and the warranty required me to travel half an hour to this location, where I had to give them my luggage and pay $20 for them to fix and return it to me.

  Bought two pieces of luggage. The lady that works there was fabulous. So much knowledge- great sales person. If I ever need more luggage I will visit with her again! We love our new suitcases!
