Me and some friends (from Utah) went to LA/Venice this past weekend for fun and we got super hungry and couldn't decide where to eat. We decided we wanted pizza so we were looking up the best places since we aren't from here. There was like one person recommending this place and we wanted to try it out. IT WAS SO GOOD! The service was the best part, they were so nice and awesome! The pizza was really good too. We also loved the little convenience store next to it which I believe is owned by the same people. Definitely recommend!

Idk why businesses in LA are so highly rated often and then the experience just doesn’t stack up. New Yorker here so I do have high standards for pizza but when it comes to LA pizza, I think this was the worst I ever had. All of us concluded the dough was undercooked and quite frankly, it tasted like those rectangular Ellio’s pizzas you would find in the freezer section as a kid. I hate leaving bad reviews bc they were lovely and service was great but this is not 4.7 pizza

I came to SaMo after a fairly long day and was absolutely blown away by the pizza. I'd split a prosciutto and a salami pizza with a friend. The gentleman running the show was communicative and an overall pleasure. While the order did get messed up, he asked if it was okay, which it was. I didn't mind the mix up since the pizza itself was so delicious. Extra points for the Mango Lassi, it was incredibly refreshing and mildly sweetened which I love! Thank you SaMo!

My best friend and I came across this place a few months ago, and after we had a first bite of the delicious pizza, we automatically knew this wouldn’t be the last time coming here. The customer service is beyond immaculate, and the techno music playing in the background adds grooviness to the ambiance. The pizza is made from scratch, and you can literally taste the love that was poured into making the pizzas! Side note: the cookies are to die for

I only go out my way to leave reviews either if the food was better than expected or very bad. Unfortunately I wanted to give this place a high review because it seems to be a family business but man the pizza was not it. No idea how it has a 4.7/5 stars unless it’s for the convenience for being open late. I would still just suffer and wait until the morning to get real meal. I got the buffalo chicken pizza. It tasted like an elementary school kid made pizza and put it in the oven. The cheese didn’t melt. Was too salty for some reason (more salty than a usual buffalo sauce). Dough felt like a very thin slice of toasted loaf. I would pick domino’s, papa John’s, even little Caesar’s over this. Worst $20 ever spent. I threw out after 1 slide. Even 7 eleven frozen pizzas are better. I really hope it’s only the buffalo chicken pizza that’s bad and the other ones are good. The person working was very humble and down to earth. But the pizza wasn’t it for me :(
