Our technician, Tyler is our absolute favorite employee. We always request him for maintenance and any problems that arise. He’s on time, knowledgeable, smart as a whip and troubleshoots in record time. Today, he fixed us right up and gave us advice to prevent the problem from happening again.

What we've also experienced over our 4 years with the company, paying for their bi-annual maintenance service, and meeting several of the team members over the course of mundane and emergency situations is: this is a group of people who go above and beyond to deliver excellent service and make their customers happy. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great AC company. Their techs are all professional; they not only know their trade but they all have great customer service. mature individuals, listen to our needs, take the time to explain their work so that we know what to expect, and explain the pros/cons of decisions we have to make. we originally had Abel as a tech for several years. when we moved to a new tech (Dillon), my wife and I were not sure what to expect because we thought we had hit the jackpot. we're please that Dillon is also a professional. we also had an AC emergency this year where the operations manager (Karl) responded to our emergency, and then there was a billing issue which we worked out with their Operations Director (I might be getting the role wrong). over the course of that issue we learned that this is a family-owned business, and as such they take all feedback very seriously and work very hard to keep their customers happy and hire great people.

Samms is our go to. They’re always quick, and we never feel like they’re up or over selling what we need.

I have used Samm’s for over 7 years as they are experts in their area and very customer-service focused. Tyler B is a great example of this. He fix our A/C and then took the time to explain why the problem occurred and why it may happen again and my options. The options did not include paying more money to Samm’s - it was about other systems that impact the A/C so they were not trying to upsell, just ensure I was aware. Great service as always and would never use another company. I was not charged for the service as I have yearly maintenance and it was within the 30 day frame.

Frequently Asked Questions About Samm's Heating and Air Conditioning

How much does an AC repair typically cost?

When considering AC repair costs, several factors influence the overall expense. The age and type of the AC unit play a crucial role; older systems may require more extensive and costly repairs, while newer models might be less expensive to fix. The complexity of the issue is another significant factor. Minor repairs, such as replacing small components, typically cost less than larger repairs, like replacing the compressor or other major parts. Additionally, the availability of replacement parts can impact costs; if specific components are hard to find or require special ordering, this can lead to higher expenses. Also, whether the system is still under warranty can also affect the final price.

How much does a new AC System cost?

This too varies depending on many factors like size of home, 1 story vs 2 story, the type of system, home automation desires, and many other factors (see the next topic). We find that the average new complete system costs anywhere from $7,000 – $12,500. The fact is it is a very difficult and dangerous task to try to “ballpark” the largest investment, aside from remodeling, in your home. That is why we will recommend sending our design specialist to your home at no cost to discuss your needs, help you understand your options, provide a load calculation and answer any questions. Many times we are offering rebates. We also have special financing with approved credit options to help ease the cost burden.
