Derek & Rachel were the friendliest, most real people we've ever had the honor of making life changing memories with. The Manatuska Glacier all day tour was like going on a hike on a glacier with our family. Such genuine people who truly love what they do. Their passion for what they do is infectious and made the tour so much more thrilling. I would not want to take the tour again if I couldn't go with them. They came right to our hotel to pick us up, drove us an hour to stop for a break while explaining the sights all around. We drive another hour to the glacier and told us on the drive what to expect and all the does & dont's when walking on the glacier. They were very professional, safe, and willing to work with the group based on the group's wants & desires along the way. The views were spectacular on the glacier, they made us feel very safe and explained everything we were doing & about to do along the way. After the incredible hike we had an amazing lunch at the Long Rifle Lodge where you sat in the restaurant looking out over the front of the glacier. Majestic views and great conversation was had at the end of the tour. We then took the 2 hour drive back to Anchorage where they left us with great recommendations on where to eat and do things. This was the start of our week here in Alaska and Derek & Rachel have set the bar very high. Salmon Berry Tours- you have a couple of gems. Take good care of them!

A highlight of our visit to the Wildlife Center was up close viewing of bears. Our guide, Bill, was wonderful. Knowledgeable, right down to knowing the names of all the animals at the Wildlife Center. He is also fun and very accommodating. The office staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable. Julie, our guide on a second tour, was also wonderful.
