  Eric and his crew were very friendly, professional and so respectful of our needs. Eric kept in contact throughout the process which included his participation in following requirements of the Veterans Administration, who subsidized this walk-in shower installation for my husband, Daryl, who is a disabled Viet Nam veteran. The cost of this project done by Eric was far more affordable than any of the other installers I got estimates from. Grateful to our son, Matthew, for suggesting getting in touch with Eric. Besides, we preferred to keep our money local and support a Salem business, a superior one at that! Thanks again Eric and crew!

  Wow! Working with Eric and his crew was an absolute pleasure. I live in Florida but my mom needed a tub to shower conversion in her home up in Ohio, so I was working over the phone getting quotes and vetting contractors. After a few bad experiences we found Salem Custom Remodeling, and they saved the day! Eric had the best price, no pressure sales tactics and he and his crew were very pleasant to my mom while doing the work. These guys are the real deal and I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed if you hire them for your next renovation project. Before and after pictures attached.

  We didn't have the best experience. Maybe you will, as I know others have, but I would definitely be certain it's a good fit. We weren't and we regret it. The work itself is at best fine in some areas, but there are many issues that Eric refused to address prior to wrapping up the project. Once he felt he was done, our questions/issues no longer mattered. The amount of money spent on the project led us to believe that it would be better. The experience was not smooth. The way that Eric treated my wife, if he was ever actually on site with his helper, was less than ideal and only seemed to happen if I wasn't around. Ultimately I think Eric wanted the job to be what only he wanted it to be and did not like our ideas or hopes, which didn't sit well with us considering our position in funding it and communicating clearly in many of our preferences. There are plenty of 5 star reviews which will drown out this one singular negative, but very honest, review. ***The helper that he did have doing the bulk of his work, Carlos, is deserving of a separate review because he was great.

  We love our new kitchen. He was easy to work with, had great ideas about the best ways to improve our kitchen. He was always on time, worked quickly and quietly. The work is excellent, came in on budget. He was easy to contact with any questions we had. He also replaced a sink, faucet and countertop in our bathroom. He never left a mess at the end of the work day. We highly recommend you consider him for your remodeling needs. Thanks Eric!!!!
