Scam! Beware! I had a new windshield put it. The tech couldn’t recalibrate my camera on site. (This was the only reason I used satellite) he said I would have to take it to a brick and mortar. I tried to schedule an appointment but the phone would hang up on me and direct me online when it detected my phone number as a previous customer. Online it could not find my order so I could not schedule so I drove 50 mins to the brick and mortar when I got there no one was available to talk to me but a tech that couldn’t find my account either. I asked for a credit for the programming bc they didn’t do it and was told to call the 1877 number which NO ONE answers and it directs you to the website. What a nightmare. Now I’m at a dead end. Run far away!

I scheduled an appointment to replace my windshield and the customer service from the start was easy and quick, and was able to schedule an appointment within a week. The technician who came out to my home this morning, Jonathon was very kind and a quick worker. Safelite had accidentally ordered the wrong windshield and he triple checked it was the right one before replacing it (imagine if he had put the wrong one lol). This wasn’t his fault and I was cool about it. I was just glad he triple checked and was able to get one asap. In all, 10/10 final product, service, and saved a lot more money and gas than going to a dealership, highly recommend 😗👍

Amazing service by Technician Caesar - super professional and just a genuine great individual. Was lucky to get this outstanding gentleman. Casandra back at the office was also a delight to work with. Thanks for taking care of my broken windshield! Will use again!!

My experience with Safelite has been mixed. During my initial call with customer support, I mentioned that I had already been told my windshield replacement could not be completed in person due to the recalibration required for the camera and hardware on my car model. However, the representative insisted this was not necessary and scheduled me for an at-home replacement. On the day of my appointment, I received a call from the technician informing me that the work could not, in fact, be done in person. Because the shop was fully booked, my service couldn’t be completed that day. I was advised to bring my car to the location, but once I arrived, it was confirmed that the windshield had to be replaced in-house — and to make matters worse, the windshield in stock wasn’t even the correct one. This meant I would need to schedule yet another appointment for the windshield replacement. The experience would have been far better if the customer support representative had been more knowledgeable about the specific needs of my vehicle from the start. Correctly identifying that the windshield required in-shop service could have saved me unnecessary inconvenience and lost time. That said, I do want to commend the manager on-site. They went out of their way to make the situation easier for me, ensuring that at least my side window could be replaced that day and even offering to cover an Uber ride home and back to the shop while the work was completed. That effort was very much appreciated. Overall, while I’m grateful for the manager’s responsiveness and customer care, the process highlighted a serious gap in communication and technical knowledge at the initial point of service. I still have to return for my windshield replacement, which is frustrating, but I do hope my next visit runs more smoothly.

The technician replaced my wind shield. 8 hours latter my infotainment system went down in transit. I made an appointment went in and they showed me a printout and said it was not their fault. The interesting thing is that the technician started the job then told me, that if I wanted the recalibration I would need to sign a disclaimer. (BEWARE OF DISCLAIMERS THAT MATERIALIZE AFTER WORK HAS STARTED) Granted at the end of the installation he said everything was ok and it looked alright. I just turned it on for two minutes and put it in the garage. I googled the number of ways a windshield replacement could cause harm to an infotainment system and it turns out there are five. Three of which could possibly have been a factor. They did a good job last time however this time was they damaged my vehicle and took the easy way out and said that they did not go near my cue system. Of course they did the forward and rear cameras are in the same circuit. I am a technician. These people look for ways to absolve themselves of responsibility first, instead of trying to determine what happened. They did not even take my car into their shop and I had an appointment. After saying that I was going to give them two stars but I’m pulling one back.
