They seemed to over schedule for their work load and ran about an hour late on delivering my vehicle . However, they issued a credit of $125 without my even asking. This was much appreciated and the lateness just gave me more time with a friend.

Tim was 5 hours late to my scheduled appt. He did give me a courtesy call and explained to me that he was running behind because he broke a window and had to replace it. Once he came at 5ish..He got started. Not even 15 minutes later he called me and told me he broke my windshield. He explained that it was a mistake on his part. He then informed me I would have to pay for a brand new windshield. I asked him to call his boss, Charlie. Tim called Charlie told him he was negligent in doing the repair. I spoke to Charlie.. he admitted Tim was at fault but as he stated Safelite doesn't give out free windshields and Tim was educated on Safelite ways. Their solution was giving me a discount. I have requested Henry the district manager to call me. It's been a week. I called Safelite and asked for the regional manager to call me. It's been 4 days. The solution customer care gave me was a $200 discount on a windshield that Safelite employees admitted their tech was negligent on repairing. It's very sad that as a reputable company who my insurance suggested this is how they conduct business. Not one phone call. Not one I'm sorry. I understand things happen. But the way this entire experience was handled from go was horrible. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I will make sure every who will listen to my experience hears me! I hope by seeing this review someone can learn by my misfortune and not go through the same thing I have gone through. I also hope maybe someone will actually call me and make this right!!
