- DDDaveLVMay 15, 20251.0They tried to rip me off for $500. I have a high-end collector car that I requested OEM glass for. Safelite showed up with aftermarket glass, so I declined. Shortly after he left, I got a call and he said they can do the OEM glass for an additional $503 beyond what my insurance pays. I reached out to Portland Glass and they showed up with the OEM glass and replaced it FREE of charge, insurance covered it fully. They also told me that windshield only cost $573 without any insurance. Absolute rip off, I'll never use them again.

From the extremely rude and unprofessional manager, to the over 10 hours and 3 days spent to replace and recalibrate a windshield. Communication is non-existent. My vehicle was left with debris on the dashboard and footprints on the door jams. Avoid at all costs!
