Leaving this review in the hopes of finally getting a resolution - had my windshield replaced, tech was solid. However I prepaid and was owed a refund for the missing rain repellent. Refund never got processed by the "shop". Tried calling the endless customer service robot line until I got a person, she escalated to the shop again but still nothing after another 10 days, another 20 minutes waiting with the robo line and finally got someone on the phone, they called the shop twice and still no answer. To top it off, my windshield has an air leak and vibrates so I scheduled warranty, only for it to somehow get cancelled by the system or someone on the line and then rescheduled for 2 weeks later saying id be bringing the car to them. Absolutely none of this makes any sense whatsoever and im frustrated with this service. Nor have I been refunded for service almost a month ago, nor have I even gotten my windshield fully repaired. Please contact me or check your messages from your customer care center to process my refund promptly and ensure my warranty repair happens as scheduled this time.
Windshield replacement is one of those things you only expect to need once or twice, if ever. So you don't expect a windshield repair place to treat you so well you think, if I need another windshield I'm definitely coming back here. I managed to crack two windshields on the sane car in two years, and I literally thought, sucks to spend the money but at least I like the Safelite people. Honest, friendly, real people doing a great job with what they do. Makes me wish all car places were like this....

This experience was smooth and quick! My technician Rodney was great! I would definitely recommend using this company for your window replacement needs and if/when needing to do so again in the future, they will be my first call!

Had a rock hit my car windshield and needed a replacement. I called Safelight and they sent an amazing tech, Glenn, to fix it. Glenn made sure he had the correct gasket for my older model car and did a beautiful job of installing the new window. He was professional, quick and tidy! Thanks to Glenn, I was back on the road with a perfect windshield.
Extreme Negligence and Abysmal Customer Service
I brought my car to this Safelite location for a simple windshield service and was told the work would take about two to two and a half hours. Having received no call, voicemail, or text from the shop, I went to check on my car myself and found it UNLOCKED and unattended with the office closed and no number to call. My keys and paperwork with my information (along with another customer’s keys and paperwork) were also left out in plain sight inside the office by the window facing the outside.
Even if there had been a miscommunication about pickup (there wasn’t — I verified there were no missed calls or voicemails, and confirmed TWO phone numbers to reach me at drop off), there is absolutely no excuse for leaving a customer’s vehicle unsecured. I had to wait until Monday morning and still received no call or communications from the office about my vehicle despite them opening at 8am. When I tried to get clarity, the response from staff was defensive and dismissive, including comments like “I can’t turn back time,” instead of a basic apology or acknowledgment of how serious this was.
I’ve since been bounced back and forth between Safelite and GEICO, with neither taking responsibility for resolving the situation. Safelite has offered zero accountability, apology, or solution, essentially holding my car hostage until I paid $500.
I’m sharing this so others are aware of how poorly this shop handled a straightforward service and how little care is shown for a customer’s property. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else - literally anywhere else.
