My appointment was scheduled for 8am to 12pm, they didn't show until 12:30pm and that was after I called and said I wanted a discount because they were late and I missed an appointment. Oh management never returned my call.

- DCDana CyraAug 11, 20251.0I recently had a very bad experience with safelite due to poor customer service. The rear window on my Dodge Caravan was shattered due to a mowing accident. I made a appointment online on Sunday eve and the soonest I could get an appt was Wed, a day I knew I'd be out of town. I made the appt for Thursday morning, knowing I was leaving on vacation early Friday morning. I received multipe messages and reminders of how to prepare for the appt but nobody showed up to complete the repair. Trying to get in touch with anyone was terrible. Talked to a bot online; then got a message with an 800 number...on and on. Finally spoke to someone at the actual shop around 2:30 pm who said there was something wrong with the glass they planned to use. They knew this before the technician left to do morning repairs but nobody contacted me so I could explore other options to get the window repaired. In the end, I had to get a different vehicle to use. I left the van with a local shop for repairs and will NOT be contacting Safelite again. It was such an impersonal experience with deplorable customer service.
