- DBDavid BoydSep 9, 20251.0I have used safelite in the past but I will not use them anymore. I had a technician come to my house to replace my windshield. He advised me he needed to replace it and then calibrate it due to the sensors involved. I let him do his job but would later notice via my cameras that he actually drove my vehicle away from my house at 11:13am and would not return to my house until 60 minutes later, 12:13pm. It was then that he left in his vehicle never contacting me. This technician called me around 2pm to tell me it was completed and ask for payment. When I asked about where he had gone to he stated he had forgot his tablet back at the main store so he had to drive back to the store to get it, in my vehicle.!, which was almost 20 minutes away. Whether or not that’s what he actually did my vehicle is not for his errands because he forgot his items for work. Soo disappointed. Spoke to the supervisor but he only covered for him stating they have to drive it for 10-15 minutes sometimes to calibrate the windshield properly.

- DLDerek LazosAug 25, 20251.0Had my windshield replaced in 2024 August, and they gave me a new windshield with a huge corner cracked, thankfully I noticed and went back and asked for another one. Had a nasty crack again recently and they filled it in. I worked my 12 hour shift and came outside to see it ran super nasty from the heat.
- CGCyng62 GAug 17, 20252.0Safelite did not live up too my expectations...instead of an easy replacement I had to go not one but three times...and still my recalibration is not completed...they said it was BUT IT IS NOT. The Drive assist us not working. They claim that I must have spilled something on a button that is stuck...( it was working fine until they replaced windshield) it stopped working after replacement....Grossly disappointed...out of gas money and will most likely have to psy dealership to get but on repaired...btw at first I was told that the drive assist wasn't dependent on button...l knew it was dependent on the button ..i set it up when i first got them vehicle. then they proceeded to charge me full price after all the inconvenience
