- CGCurt GAug 26, 20251.0Ryse is just "Spectrum Remodeling LLC" rebranded. Do a search on Iowa Courts online for owner (Brandon Fick) prior to doing business with him. There is a good chance you will lose your money or have an unfinished project if you don't. He likely changed the business name to try to avoid judgements against his old company / LLC. When we were in court his lawyer (buddy) constantly mentioned that our claims were against "Spectrum Remodeling" and not "Brandon Fick", that's because he was likely planning on just changing the name and continuing on. He took over 13K of my money and showed up once. In all damages are north of 20K. He will refute this and say that I continued to change things (that's called change orders) but really it was that he spent my money on other things and openly stated in court that the material he bought for my job was "possibly" used on someone else's project, he really didn't know where it was. Do your homework, plenty of good contractors out there so you don't have to settle.
