  We were told this place is a must try and the selection of food was plentiful. I'm was thinking "Ok....this sounds like a bar food place to eat". Oh was i so wrong! I had shrimp tacos w/ a side loaded potato and my wife had a grilled pineapple chicken sandwich on an onion bun. It was delicious!! And let me tell you, they had pies, cheesecakes, and Mississippi brownies!! You could get slices or buy a whole pie or cake. I decided to get a whole chocolate peanut butter pie (take it home for everyone to try) and my wife got a slice of Mississippi brownie. They were so good and very rich in flavor. We thoroughly enjoy this place. We'll be back for more pies!

  Food was very good. We had Calamari with Red Sauce appetizer. Main Entre were Seafood Pasta & Crab cakes. Good service & a nice atmosphere.

  5 stars!! Wow....come on. One of the best meals we've had in a long time. Pan seared redfish with creme sauce. Wholly cow!! And a mud pue to die for!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! DO IT!!

  So, I try to rate each place based on their business model and pricing. Rusty's does everything fine, but not a single point of our dining experience was better than average for that style restaurant. We got decent food, at an acceptable price with mediocre service. The hostess was borderline rude. Our server was overwhelmed and left us sitting for long periods of time with no interaction. We had a long wait to order, our food took 20+ minutes and when it did come, our fries and onion rings were cold. The burger is Ok, not very flavorful and the bun was complete mush by the time I was halfway through. They need something with more density. The shrimp tacos were also, just OK. The shrimp was plentiful, but not flavorful. The only flavor came from the sauce, which again, was, fine, but not great. Honestly, they could have left off every other ingredient except the shrimp and sauce and it would have been the exact same experience. At the end of the meal we waited an extra 15 minutes for our check to be delivered.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Absolutely Outstanding! My wife and I were traveling from Texas to Florida and stopped in Vicksburg for the night. We decided to try Rusty’s Riverfront Grill after seeing the great reviews, and wow—what an incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the place was buzzing. Every table was full, and there were several parties ahead of us. The hostess told us it would be about a 20–25 minute wait, which turned out to be spot-on. We grabbed a couple of beers, relaxed in the waiting area, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Once seated, we were greeted by our server, Jessica, who was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food. We started with the fried green tomatoes topped with hollandaise, crab meat, and cheese. They were phenomenal—hands down one of the best appetizers we’ve ever had. As we enjoyed our meal, I couldn’t help but notice how incredibly well the staff worked together. The bus staff was lightning fast—tables were cleared within seconds of guests leaving, and reset within minutes. The kitchen crew, which Jessica told us has been together for 10–20 years, clearly knows their craft. Everything is homemade, consistent, and prepared with care. For our entrée, we shared a seafood pasta loaded with shrimp, scallops, and crab meat over angel hair pasta. It was absolutely to die for. From the hostesses to the bus staff to the seasoned kitchen crew, everyone here is operating at the top of their game. The teamwork, efficiency, and quality are unmatched. This was truly five-star service and five-star food without the stuffiness—just genuine hospitality and amazing flavor. If you’re anywhere near Vicksburg, do yourself a favor and go to Rusty’s. You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back!
