Rumble Boxing Midtown Memphis has been delivering incredible workouts and growing our awesome community since April, 2023. We have a welcoming staff and many experienced and motivating instructors. We offer a variety of group classes in a high energy dance club environment where you will spend half the class on the benches doing strength exercises and core work and the other half punching safe, comfortable aqua bags. You don't need any experience or equipment - we can rent you gloves and show you all you need to know. And we've got you covered on safe, FREE parking. You can either park at the Walgreens across the street or on the lower level of Citizen Apartments off of McLean. Come give us a try! You will not be sorry you did.

    My favorite workout place! I’ve been going here for almost 2 years. The instructors are great and front desk is always friendly. Great music too!

    I attended about 30 classes over a period of 5 months. And for the first time in about ten years, I did not dread exercising. I got strong enough to do ten real push ups, I was so proud of myself. I have never been an athlete and have never been comfortable working out in general - at some point I started developing knee pain that would last for days, probably from doing squats and other knee heavy exercises wrong. I do not blame the trainers at all. The last time, I was forced to take a two month hiatus after a chronic pain flare up. When I came back I was early to talk to a trainer about how to sub out the squats while I went to see a physical therapist about the rest. None of the three people I had talked to countless times before behind the counter greeted me - even though no one else was there. I went to change. When I came back, I approached them only to get dead eyes as if they had never seen me before. And when I mentioned my knee pain - they laughed it off uncomfortably. The trainer who I had gone to regularly at that point and had pumped me up in the group classes did not acknowledge who I was, didn't ask what the issue was - didn't even smile at all. Just made me feel like I was wasting her time - while she took a minute to show me a few things and then walked away without so much as a see you later. Pretty much my worst nightmare when approaching people who are fit and exercise for a living. If any of them had been kind or treated me with respect as an individual who was trying to find a way to exercise - even while giving me terrible advice I would go back in a heartbeat. And I'm really sad that at the end of the day, after all the promise I felt here, I don't feel comfortable going back at all.

    You know you found the right place when the staff prioritize creating value for customers rather than making money. Lexi just spent a full 20 minutes on the phone with me, walking through the place, explaining the dynamics, and breaking down how the classes work. She was incredibly patient and helpful—honestly, such a great first impression, and I haven’t even stepped into a class yet! Thanks for all the info. Looking forward to joining when September ends! :)

    Rumble Midtown has been such an integral part of my fitness journey and such an incredible community to be a part of. As a whole, the gym is such a welcoming, positive, and encouraging environment. All of the trainers are so kind and empowering during each round of every workout. Every class is structured so well, planned perfectly down to every song and transition. Rumble is such an awesome workout and gym- a must try for any fitness level!
