Excellent service, very reasonable pricing, the plumber Shawn they sent us was one those plumbers your granddad tells you story about their great service.
I’m very impressed by how quickly we were able to get an appointment. They came with in a few hours and checked out our problem. They gave us our cost & various ways to pay for their services. Our sewage pump was replaced the same day. No wait since we were serviced on a Saturday & I would definitely use Roto- Rooter again & recommend their services. Also all repairs are under warranty for a year if anything goes wrong. Very thankful our basement stayed cleaned during this process and things did not overflow!

I'll start by saying we've used Roto-Rooter previously and the experience was good, but not this time. We called because we had a leak in the basement, and we knew we needed to update the outside plumbing from our house to the street and asked for a quote on that. The plumber comes on time, and states he wasn't able to fix it because the pipe basically has disintegrated, but he blew some debri out, didn't take long at all. Then the representative who would be giving the quote comes and he shows me with the camera the pipe and from that point to the street was good. I then ask how much it would be to fix the broken pipe, he came back with $5,000 to $7,000, seems a bit much but okay. We call my husband and go over everything with him and he asked what it would cost to replace the water line and pipes from the house to the street, he's on the phone with the representative, and the plumber asked me if I could pay him so he could be on his way, I said of course and got my checkbook, I asked how much and he said $462! I paid it but I'm still pissed that I did. While I paid, the rep went and figured the estimate and came back with $14,000. They were here for an hour and did nothing, I basically paid for an outrageous estimate! We were supposed to receive the email of the estimate, I really wanted to see how they broke it down but of course we never received the email. We'll never use them again.
I emailed my info in response to Roto-Rooter and still haven't heard anything! Do not recommend this company.

This is a long review but it’s only to explain why I’m giving one star and it’s definitely a review that I wish I would have seen before getting the work done.
I’m giving 1 star only because they did the work, if I could give a negative amount of stars then I would. The reason I’m not giving more is because Roto-Rooters men took complete advantage of us being a young family that were overly trusting and just starting off their adult life. Our basement drain backed up during a bad storm and there was about a 4ft area that had water on it. We were HIGHLY advised to make a claim to our insurance, there was minor damage to a few of our items and there was dirt/residue left on the floor and Bob said that they’d get it cleaned and our insurance would take care of all costs when it came to cleaning and replacing the items that had to be thrown away. I was promised many times by Bob that we wouldn’t have to pay a penny and that it would all be taken care of by insurance. The part where they lied and took advantage of us was both when we were promised over and over that we wouldn’t have to pay anything and then when they used an insane amount of fans that they said were “necessary” to dry the area that was cleaned. Keep in mind that it was an unfinished basement with a concrete floor so no carpet or wood was involved. They used 12 industrial grade fans, running 24hrs a day, for 4 days, to dry a 4ft area in a 750sqft basement. The fans kept tripping our breaker anytime we used any appliances and they were so loud that you could hear them from outside. At the time I didn’t know how much they were charging us per fan per day but the insurance adjuster came out and assessed everything and told me that he didn’t even know how they fit so many fans in that area first of all and second that each fan was like $60/day. He said that the amount of fans they used was excessive and that they weren’t going to cover the full balance so now I’m stuck with a $1,700 bill (that I definitely can’t afford) from Roto-Rooter after being assured and promised over and over that it was going to fully be taken care of. I’ve tried talking to Roto-Rooter and they said I can make payments on the balance but they won’t take anything off regardless of how excessive anyone thinks the fans were. So to conclude, sure they’ll do the work and a good job but if I were you I’d keep real close tabs on what they use and how much because they definitely aren’t being honest about what’s really “ Necessary”
