  Miss Rose is absolutely wonderful! She doesn’t just take care of her customers - she truly takes pride in her craft, and it shows in her fabulous work. Everyone in town recommended her to me, and I’m so glad they did. I honestly think she’s the only person in town who could have handled the boning in my dress. If you want to feel beautiful, confident, and completely at ease in your clothing, go see Miss Rose. She’s the best!

  I walked in to Rose’s to get my daughter’s dress sewn. It’s nice, clean and smells like CINNAMON FROM HER CANDLE WARMER. While I am speaking with the seamstress about how I want my daughter’s dress designed. A customer walks in with her babygirl and immediately rushes her daughter out of the building. Before the customer takes off, she comes back in to apologize to the seamstress and to let the employee know that her daughter is allergic to cinnamon. The customer leaves and the seamstress looks at me and starts talking so much shit about the customer, last thing she says is that, “SHE IS SO STUPID, “ then rolls her eyes. At this point I’m confused and shocked to why she is speaking down about a Mother who is just worried about her child’s wellbeing . What gives her the right to speak on anyone like that. So, I grabbed my material, looked her in the eyes and said NO THANKS this is not for me. I bet you anything Rose was talking her shit about me too after I had left. Which btw I do not care, just don’t do others like that in front of me. First of all ROSE, we are all PAYING CUSTOMERS and we did nothing wrong. Stop the bullshit talk. It might work for others but not for me. ALSO, DON’T ACT SURPRISED LIKE YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. ROSE YOU ARE: RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, OVERCHARGING, and you reply to all on here like you even care. Just ✋ seriously JUST 🛑 or close up your shop it’s time for your retirement because your attitude proved it My family use to go to Rose’s Custom Tailoring a lot but maybe she’s just getting too old and that’s probably why she is so grumpy. Now none of us go there. I drove straight to SWAN ALTERATIONs at least she’s kind and sweet. If I could I would give you —5⭐️

  Best local tailor with actual credentials. Rose was the former Nordstrom men's tailor manager for 12 years+ not only for the Anchorage branch but the Portland, Oregon Lloyd center! Her prices are moderate but come with a warranty! In-store purchases also come with deeply discounted alterations and satisfaction guaranteed. Her former store is no longer affiliated with her, so make sure you're visiting the Arctic and Benson location.
