The staff is so unorganized. The place probably won't be there too long. Such a shame.gave it a second chance and thought maybe it would be ok but ended up worse.

This was my first and last visit to Rosati's. I've never had a Chicago style pizza with just two tablespoons of sauce on it. You should've taken some scissors, cut off the high edges and charge me for a thin crust pizza. Highly disappointed. No customers should have been a warning. 😔 👎👎

I was born and raised in Chicago and I have been eating Rosatis all my life. This is the same pizza and same Italian beef. The food is amazing! Most of the bad reviews I see are because people are misinformed and don’t know what they’re ordering or unfortunately, their order wasn’t cooked properly or to their liking. If you want Chicago “Deep Dish” style pizza you have to request it because they have 3 different crusts. Thin, Double Dough, and Deep dish. Thin is super flaky. Double dough is just a little thicker with a hand rolled edge. Chicago Deep dish is super heavy like a pie filled with extra cheese and toppings. It’s hard to eat more than 2 slices of Chicago deep dish in one sitting. Most people would probably prefer the double dough in my opinion which is closest to hand tossed/tavern style pizza. If you decide to get thin crust make sure to tell them light cook, not to cook it well done as they tend to cook most pizzas towards well done. They make their sauce, dough, and Italian sausage. Their Italian sausage is INCREDIBLE, it’s real Italian sausage made in house in Chicago and is nothing like the pizza chains and even higher end pizzerias that buy generic sausage. Their Italian sausage is unique and common in Chicago as I rarely ever see that type of sausage anywhere in the country unless they are copying “Chicago style sausage”. Even their cheese is a unique mozzarella blend made in Wisconsin. It’s buttery and stretchy with just the right amount of salt. Then they sprinkle a little oregano on top for a unique herbal flavor. Also, if you get the Italian beef they will dunk the whole sandwich in aujus gravy unless you tell them auju on the side. It makes the whole sandwich dripping with juice like a fountain which is made to eat fresh unless you get the gravy on the side. Make sure you get the sweet peppers and if you like some heat also add the “hot giardiniera peppers” which is also unique to Chicago. In Chicago we put hot giardiniera peppers on everything. I love this place, the ingredients are TOP QUALITY AND DELICIOUS. Don’t hesitate to try it and don’t listen to the negative reviews!

I'm from Chicago, now live in Jacksonville FL. Many restaurants states Chicago style pizza or Italian Beef sandwich. I have tried them and it's not true. When I heard about Rosatis I had to give them a try. And they are the real thing. All the way to the sweet and Gardiner peppers.

What in the world? Very disappointed. This is not Chicago Style Pie/Pizza. This was a "hand toss" style type pizza with alot of sauce. The pizza was NOT thick like a Chicago style pizza. The "cheese bread" did not reflect what the on line picture looked like. There was hardly any cheese on the bread and the peices were small. Honestly, it just taste like bread. I suggest everyone to check their pizza before leaving. If it's is not what you want... do not get. Guys please do better with your pizza and bread. I could have went to Dominos and been more pleased.
