The food was truly a highlight, tasting both yummy and delicious thanks to their high-quality ingredients. We were delighted by the great service provided by our server, his friendly attention made the meal even more enjoyable. This spot successfully blends a sophisticated ambiance with a comfortable, family-friendly feel, making it great for any special outing. We highly recommend Root & Branch for a dining experience.

Food took at least 30 mins and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Cheesesteak was subpar and fries tasted old. Server sold us on fried banana pudding which was $13 with 1 scoop of plain vanilla ice cream for $6, not worth $19 dollar dessert. This place is not worth another visit.

Food isn’t so great for the price. Lemon caper chicken I ordered wasn’t very tasty barely tasted it had seasonings. Also the bread pudding tasted like sour dough and was very hard. Didn’t taste like actual bread pudding. I thought bread pudding was suppose to be soft?
Second time coming here and still wasn’t impressed. Both times my guest and I weren’t really impressed with the food. Nice staff though.

Whenever I am in Clermont, this place is always on my to-do list. The food is probably the freshest I’ve ever tasted in the area, and the service is always top tier! Atmosphere is great for a nice dinner date with others, and always offer plenty of cocktail/drink options to chose from. The menu is always changing/adding new & delicious items, and even offer a variety of themed nights throughout the year. It’s difficult to find fresh, authentic food sometimes but R&B blows it out of the water. A definite hidden gem for foodies in the clermont area, as I would highly recommend to anyone in the area to go & visit! You will NOT be disappointed.

The atmosphere was quiet, which it was a Saturday afternoon, that wasn’t too concerning.. The service was fantastic and we are assuming the “manager” wearing shorts and a wrinkled shirt looking like he just stepped out of a dive bar came to us after my wife tried the “wagyu sirloin” steak… Wagyu is known for the marbilized fat throughout the meat to provide a tender texture and taste. This particular cut of sirloin was clearly not wagyu. The “manager” claimed it was American wagyu and that is why it was tougher than other cuts. Biggest line of BS I’ve ever heard in all of my years in the restaurant industry. For all of you consumers, this was a cheap sirloin cut from a place like Costco.
I had the whiskey burger, which Gator’s Dockside right next door has a better tasting sandwich than this. My wife ended up with a salad to replace her steak. No flavor at all, but have to say the caramelized nuts were the only flavored ingredient in the entire dash. Guys, have you ever heard of salt, pepper, anything?
For this place to call itself a high end restaurant, I am incredibly disappointed by the quality of these dishes coming out of that kitchen. You should be ashamed of yourselves! To finalize, the ice cream sandwich is the Nestle Toll House ice cream sandwich you can buy from the cooler of a 7-11. $2 at 7-11 being sold for $8 at Root & Branch and a Costco sirloin selling for $42 with no flavor..
