- DDDSLJun 24, 20252.01. Don't say "welcome in." That's not a thing. 2. The staff seem to be hanging out instead of working. The higher the cost of a product, the more the staff need to be involved. The more they need to know about the products. The more competence they need to have. They need to know what items are in the store. They need to know where items are located in various drawers and not have to go searching for them. They need to give specific, clear, detailed answers to questions. They need to be interested in the customer. They should not give the appearance of just having rolled into a place for the first time. When given a specific context and question regarding an item, the solution should not be to "start of the fourth floor and try things out." This is not professional. Too relaxed.
