  Was charged $135 just to fill out an application then nobody even showed up for the confirmed apt.

  At the end of my review I meant to put at the end *^ I keep the money order receipts everytime *^ I think I got my point across. The management needs to do a lot better on everything cause from the prior reviews I read, they are letting all of the tenants down. ☹️ Roderick Thomas Apartment #24

  The last thing I ever wanted to do was leave a review on here. But ever since Romig Court was bought from All Star Realty by “Red Tail Residential” everything has gone down hill so quickly. I have lived at this location for almost 8 years, in July it will be 8. Contacting the management is nearly impossible. We were told over a year ago to place the money orders for rent in the Mail Drop box and now we are being accused of not paying our rent. I was afraid this could happen when we were instructed to do this so I had to record myself put the money order envelopes in the drop box. I have done so for over a year. Almost a week ago we received an eviction notice on our door and since then I have tried to contact the management office. The only way to contact the office is to call the emergency maintenance line and you are told every time that they will relay the message. I have called 5 times and no one has yet to get back to us. The month prior they told us we were behind only 500 in rent which makes no sense because all 3 money orders were together. Now, apparently we just “didn’t pay” all together. We have had many other issues with our apartment and in the past contacting anyone is nearly impossible.Our toilet was out of order for over a week before anyone came to fix it. We are immensely worried because we feel they can just throw us out the curb at any point and we paid them our rent. Our upcoming rent payment is coming up and I’m hesitant on how to even pay that if they are just going to accuse us of bailing out on them. I feel like there could be someone pocketing money internally. Like I have said before, I record myself drop the money in the drop box, and keep the money orders every time. The new management legitimately scares me.

  Romig court is by far one of the WORST companies in Alaska. They never answer the phones in the office, I'm never able to get a hold of anyone. I pay my bills on time, every month. My bills never get updated and I end up with fees because they don't have them posted until toward the end of the month. Most of the neighbors are nice, some of them are the rudest people I've ever met. The romig buildings have a german roach infestation they DO NOT tell you about, but yes, there are roaches. They will not exterminate the whole building so they move from apartment to apartment. I've had to personally pay to take care of roaches in my apartment as I had called three times to set up an exterminator and no one ever called me or came to my apartment. There is NO WHERE to park, they say we get two parking spaces per apartment yet when we get home there's no parking available. I do not recommend romig court, I'd recommend widener apartments before romig.
