  Let me tell you — Rome Pizza is a hidden gem! The pizza is always hot, fresh, and made with love. I stop by for the lunch special more often than I should (my high blood pressure reminds me every time 🤣), but it’s just that good! Now let’s talk about the berry juice — my goodness! It’s honestly out of this world. Fresh, perfectly sweet, and ice-cold — it’s like something you’d find at a fancy café, not your everyday pizza spot. You can tell they make it with real fruit and care. I had the pleasure of meeting Terry and his wife, and they are just the sweetest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. You can feel their pride and passion in every bite and sip. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor — grab a slice and that berry juice. Thank me later!

  Rome has great tasty pizza by the slice 🍕 or big papa pans , their calzones hit the spot too. They have some exotic candies 🍬 for a nice sweet treat on the go. Their food is made fresh and the host were friendly and welcoming. My recommendation for some delicious pizza and I heard they have great subs too ~ so looking forward to trying more of their food. No tea no shade, I think Rome is better than Pete’s across the street. If you have cravings for pizza and are in the friendship heights neighborhood definitely support.

  New management has put in a lot of effort, and the food and pricing is excellent. Have had a sub, mozzarella sticks, and pizza, all delicious.

  It’s a little change since the original mom and pop owners. Prices went up a lot bit over all the employees are super nice and the food is decent.
