In 1989, Rockafeller’s opened its doors as a family-owned and operated seafood restaurant in Virginia Beach, seeking to provide our guests with fresh food and renowned service. We have built our success upon that foundation and we remain committed to continuing those goals well into the future. - JBJeff Beck2 days ago5.0Get to this restaurant experience!!! ..... I highly doubt you will be disappointed. It's the end of an era as they are closing, if I heard correctly, Nov 4th. I believe they made a social media post but only go off my memory when I am reviewing. The atmosphere is awesome. The entire staff are phenomenal! I promise you they are going to be busy.But when we showed up, we got seated in about three minutes. I'm guessing if they're busy 20 to 30 minute, wait. I would call ahead if you're planning on going in the next couple weeks.

She was a supreme professional with a wonderful, fun and inviting personality. I would come back again just for the service alone that I received. Between the manager who moved heaven and earth to seat us and Ashers professional performance, Rockafellers has earned 5 stars, I would give them 10 if I could!

We went on a Friday at peak hours, with no reservation, and they were able to accommodate us with no issue. The dinning area was beautiful, perfect for our date! Food was outstanding ans affordable. My husband and I both had the fresh catch of the day (Salmon and Mahi) and it was the freshest fish we have had this whole trip. Our server, Angel, was do sweet and attentive to our needs despite having a full house. Im sad to hear this establishment is closing because it was amazing.

Staff was very friendly and outgoing- the view was wonderful, with tables available by the window for smaller parties (like myself, dining alone). I ordered a virgin mojito, seafood trio, and ended the meal with a creme brulee. Food was so flavorful and fresh - great presentation as well! I'll definitely be back
- EWEmma WoodSep 24, 20251.0Atmosphere was nice to which I expected everything to flow with that vibe. HOWEVER that was not the case for $40 I ordered a steak. Should have been an amazing experience for that price. THE STEAK WAS NOT EDIBLE!!! It was tough, fatty and the flavor was like rotten meat. I advised the waitress to which she yelled across the bar instead of coming to the table, she stated she would tell the manager after 15 mins of waiting I placed my card and receipt on the table attempting to still wait for the manager to. Waitress took card and paid check. I found the manager and asked why he never acknowledged that my steak was inedible and why did I have to pay full price for rotten meat. He looked like a deer in headlights. Do better!!!! Worst experience ever!!!
