What kind of salt should I use in my water softener?
Whatever salt you have been using in your softener, you should keep on using. But, don't mix two different types of salt, it will damage your unit.
How do I know if my water softener is working?
The best way to know if your softener is working is by checking your dishes when they come out of the dishwasher. Are they clean or do they have spots and film? If they are not coming out clean, then your softener is not doing its job and it's time to give us a call.
Should I drain my water heater?
No, you should not drain your water heater. It will not extend the life of your unit.
What kind of fixtures or faucets should I buy?

What should I do if my disposal isn't working?
