o's Grille used to be the site of Lawler's Barbecue. We took it over, named it after the owner's baby "Caroline Ro" and have been serving people the best home cookin' in town ever since.
We ordered lemon pepper chicken with sweet potato, which was very good. Also, regular burger with fries. Burger meat seemed to be pre-cooked and warmed. Not like it came fresh off the grill. Will probably give them another try at some point. I would like to try their steaks. Service was fine. Opened at 10:30 am.

We were very excited to try the food but unfortunately we were never greeted. It felt like our business was unwanted from the only interaction we had which was with the manager.

Our first visit to Ro’s. We tried it for lunch on Friday at 11:10 . . . 15 mins wait due to crowd already gathering. The food was good; perhaps we ordered too much “fried!” They have a good variety of sandwiches and other lunch entrees. It is worth another visit for some other choices.

This food was so good, so apparently I was reminded I did go here before at a previous location but something about this new location made the food soooo much better... Will go back real soon!

My wife and I are new to Athens, Al and thought we would try a new restaurant in the downtown area. Friday at noon 20 minute wait not unexpected. First available seat was near the bar. A little noisy.
Our table felt sticky and we asked our server/bartender to wipe it off, he explained it was a "bad finish" on the table that made it feel sticky. Bartender took our order and came back 20 minutes later explaining he did not process our order correctly was re-entering then. He did apologize and I do understand that mistakes happen, however from the time we checked in, to the time our food finally arrived was almost 1 hour. I really thought the bartender was going to offer a free appetizer or perhaps take something off the bill but, NO. Never saw a manager either.
When the food did arrive my Beef-Philly was very warm and a good sandwich, however my hush puppies were room temperature. My wife had the Sweet Caroline, it was a good sandwich with very good bacon.
Overall I will be trying other restaurants before I return to Ro's
