  I had so much fun today at Riverside Riding Stables. Everyone was wonderful, so kind and helpful. I will definitely be back!! The resilience of these folks after Hurricane Helene last year is awe inspiring!! Thank you!

  My husband and myself drove to RRS yesterday for a one hour trail ride. What fun! We were warmly welcomed and the place is very scenic. The horses seemed very well loved & content. That really impressed me. We did a one hour trail ride with our guide Jessie. She was great, constantly gave us guidance & information. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to return at a future date for the 2 hour ride through the river. I highly recommend this place!!!!

  Had an amazing time at this family run business. Made to feel very welcome, horses were beautiful and well looked after. We had the 2 hour ride through the river and up the mountain and it was stunning. Great to see the recovery from the hurricane the previous year, a fantastic place to visit

  We had the best time here! The horses are great- our family (group) had ages from 5 to 69. No issues whatsoever and the guides could not have been better. Would 100% recommend !

  I knew this was a special place the moment I saw the sign to the left of the stables made of melted-down horseshoes that read, "By God's Grace." What a testimony this farm carries even after the devastation of Helene! Kelly made us feel right at home as we checked-in, and her precious parents are absolute gems! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our ride through the river with Jess as our guide. Abigail and Montana were the sweetest horses (and so beautiful), as were all of the others! If you're looking for a ride for all ages and levels of riding experience, this is the place for you! It was such a beautiful ride and conveniently located near the Rutherfordton, Lake Lure, and Chimney Rocks areas. We will most definitely be coming back! 🫶🏻🥹
