Easiest move of our army career!
Roosevelt, Michelle, and the crew worked incredibly hard for us to make a right timeline for our move. I didn’t think it would be possible and am so grateful for the care and attention they gave us. I would recommend River City movers to anyone!

I can’t say enough great things about this moving company!! I normally dont do reviews unless it was an absolute great experience. From start to finish, their professionalism and compassion stood out. The owner, Mrs. Sonia, is truly one of the sweetest and most understanding people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. During a particularly challenging time for my family, she went above and beyond to ensure we received the absolute best customer service.
Her team that consist of Melissa, Craig, Tracey, and Cesar—were outstanding. They handled our belongings with genuine care and respect, something that’s incredibly rare to find in the moving industry. Having moved about seven times over my 17 years in the military, I can confidently say this is the first company that truly cared about how we felt about our furniture and personal items—at least on the packing and loading side.
We’re hopeful the unloading experience will be just as smooth and damage-free. Thank you again for making a normally stressful process feel easy and manageable. Your professionalism and kindness made all the difference!

Let me just say that Ceaser and his crew were amazing! They moved us in to our new house today doing a military move. We ended up having to move into our house a day later than expected due to the sellers not getting out in time. Ceaser worked with us and had no problem moving us to the next day. He took great care of our stuff and provided top notch customer service. Highly Recommend!!

Editing my review down to 4 stars: upon arrival of our new city after our things being in storage for 4 months we are now opening our boxes packed by Rivercity. Sad to say a few of our things we had in “storage Rubbermaid” containers in our home were not packed carefully and just dumped into a box. To include military awards and glass frames not wrapped and professional documents and items that were breakable which were cracked, bent or damaged papers. This seemed like a last minute attempt to finish out the day and not wrap everything up carefully like the first items that were boxed up (kitchen and bedrooms). I added a photo of how the box was “dumped”. Watch what is being packed from your storage sheds and garages.
Original review:
We had the pleasure of having River City Movers take care of our PCS two times now. Our items were in storage for 3 years and they brought them back to us with zero damage. Second time around was just a few weeks ago, packing up our household for storage again and they did a three day job in two days. They worked extremely quick, took short and few breaks and were very professional. They accommodated any extra packing requests we had with no problem. They asked questions instead of assumed things as many movers have done to us. We’ve been in the moving cycle 24 years now and this company has been one of our best experiences. We even had the pleasure of working with one of their employees twice, so that says a lot about the company that they can keep their employees over the years. Thank you so much for your hard work on our behalf and telling us to “relax” in the process! We really appreciate it!
