  Be knowledgeable on new Michigan tax laws prior to going in. It would have cost us over $3000 if we would have stayed with them. There is an option for police, fire, troopers, and county corrections public pension to be exempt from state taxes in 2023. One option on form 4884 where you put your 1099r on. There is two optons on form first one with police, fire, etc regardless of age and second one reference age brackets.

  Let me start off by saying I called and got in within two days, basically 4 days before the deadline. Not only that, but as I was running out of printer ink, my tax papers were printed in light purple. Oh, and I had to bring a 6 year old and a very, very cranky 8 month old. If there was an Olympics for accounting, Isiah would win it. As a baby was yelling and he was being shown drawings of walrus's and talk of snakes, he completed my taxes (not just two w2's either) timely and was so patient. I'm so grateful. Unfortunately for him, he's gained a repeat customer. I could not recommend this business enough.
