I went there with a couple of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. I am not a stranger to Rick Erwin’s restaurants. They are truly some of the best around. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. The service was amazing as always and the crème brûlée was very good. However, the cowboy sirloin was burnt and full of fat. I ordered it medium. It certainly was not the quality that is typical. Extremely disappointed.

We had a reservation Saturday night for 8 people. Several times throughout the meal we felt as though we were being rushed. At one point during the meal the server picked up my half eaten salad before I was done. She had already placed another plate on top of my salad before I realized what had happened. Our entrees took an hour and a half to reach the table after we finished appetizers and salads. Everyone at the table, except one person, had a steak and unfortunately everything was cold. Having waited over an hour already to eat we decided not to say anything to the server. In total we were at the table for over two hours despite the servers desire to turn the table as quickly as possible. We waited a ridiculous amount of time for cold food. Given the ticket time on the meal I figured someone, the waitress or manager, would acknowledge the issue but that didn’t occur. Very disappointing meal but great view and atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary here tonight. Abdoulaye, was our sever. Abdoulaye was excellent in every way imaginable, and truly helped make our night be as special as it could’ve been. We started with the calamari, tasted great. I had the 16oz ribeye, medium rare, with a side of Brussel sprouts mixed with bacon jam, and au gratin potatoes. My girlfriend had the surf and turf with crab cakes, mashed potatoes, asparagus and 2 scallops. Everything was amazing, simply phenomenal. Taste was rich with plenty of distinct flavors. We repeatedly kept saying “Wow” with how good everything was. At one point we were greeted my Rick Erwin himself which was a pleasant surprise. Lastly, Abdoulaye got us a champagne, and a crème brûlée with chocolate writing on the plate wishing us a happy anniversary. We also tried the tiramisu, which was delicious, we were tempted to lick the plate clean. Truly amazing experience, we will definitely be back.

I had not been here in years and was very excited to be able to come back and visit but unfortunately I was very disappointed in the food. I ordered the sure & turf and the lobster was like rubber and my husband’s filet was over cooked. Unlike our food our service was amazing but we will not be returning to spend 400 on a meal.

Why would you attempt to seat 2 adults, repeat customers, at a table that barely has room for the glasses and dinnerware? Why on my Birthday , did I have to tell the hostess that our appetizers would not fit on this tiny table? A couple that spent over $500 on dinner and had a wonderful meal with wonderful service. However the night started off disappointing Was there any thought put into our past visits? The issue was resolved immediately, but what an awkward situation, the look on the face of the hostess when she said “ Here is your table” she knew it was too small. We never should have been paraded in front of seated patrons back and forth then again to another table.
