Richmond Lawn Sprinkler business was started by my father over 25 years ago. My father set a course for this business which was to exceed customer's expectations by installing an irrigation system that was based on a standard of excellence from design to the cleanup. - KAKenny A.May 12, 20132.0I had hired this company to winterize my sprinkler system thinking they were professional. I was wrong. When I went to turn the system on. I found out that 2 valves were cracked. Obviuously they left water in the system causing this damage. When I asked the owner/tech how could these valves break. His professional answer was "I dont know." Then he has the nerve to want to charge me for the 2 valves and 2 hours labor. I called a sprinkler company from New Jersey who said the only way these valves split was they didnt properly clear out all the water in the lines. He said basically they are incompetent. This is "sprinkler 101". DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They are not professional and competent. You would think they would at least try and work with the customer for the damage that they caused.
