  Welcome to our first year: First time on the bus. Both children have IEP's. Budding helicopter parents. . 'We were nervous,' is such an under-dramatic statement as this was part of the process, right? Kids must grow and parents must trust in that effort. When the doors slinked to the side on bus #235, Sherry greeted us like she was our long lost fairy godmother. Us meaning mine and my husband's. At this point, my kids were ready to roll on outta town. Sherry has greeted us everyday with grace, love and attention to detail. She has played such a large role in our school year and frankly, will forever be remembered as the safety we needed before we new we needed it. . National Bus Driver's day was an exciting moment for Sherry and her rig, #235, to be honored.
