- DSDick SmithJan 1, 20241.0I and my uncle have used Richard shapiro for years. However, it come to my attention that in the last 2 years their has not been service that equal fees he charges. My recommendation is not to use him. Furthermore, do your research and find out if he's actually really giving you a reduction in your taxes. Attorneys like him are falsifying documentation that is not legitimate to the city of Chicago publication of tax ID OF YOUR PROPERTY. warning:. Do your homework !

But his firm rates highly so far in terms of communication and use of technology. Timothy Hohmann has been my main point of contact and he is excellent at keeping me informed and enabling signature forms using DocuSign. If this is any indication of the work and effort that take place behind the scenes, I am hopeful for promising results and a lower property tax bill.
