In my experience, I rented a Toyota Sienna, they never release my security deposit, I called them and told me that I should call my bank. So you know, be careful when you pretend to rent a Sienna here.

I appreciated that they offered to pick me up from home and bring me to their office. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the whole experience.
When I returned the car, they charged me $125 for a small dent that was no bigger than a quarter and with a very small amount of paint damage, if any at all. I'm talking about a dent consistent with someone swinging their car door open and banging into the car. Something that is normally considered normal wear and tear.
Only then did I notice a small sign in the office that said customers would be charged $75 for dents larger than a quarter without paint damage. Not only was the charge higher than the stated amount, but no one mentioned this policy during the rental process or at the time of signing.
If this kind of damage policy is important to them, it should be clearly communicated upfront, not buried on a sign you only see after it’s too late. I felt blindsided, and it came across as a convenient way to tack on extra charges after the fact.
I won’t be renting from them again, and I’d advise others to be extremely cautious. Take detailed photos of the car, ask explicitly about their damage policy, and don’t assume fair treatment on return.

From pick-up to drop-off, I had absolutely no complaints. This is my second go-around with the fine folks at Champion, and this time I just had to show some love. Thanks for all that you do – for providing quality service and vehicles, and for making it so easy for me to have a car for my errands around town.
