I went to a different location and it was lacking customer care, compared to you guys! It was my first time buying a climbing harness. The other location didn’t have an employee at the harnesses and didn’t seem to have an employee available to educate me on the brands, fits, and specifications. They also weren’t as clear on returns as you guys. When I stopped in to this location, I hung out with Mike n the harness section and he was very informative. Sincerely appreciate that he was there to help me understand how to properly find the right size and compare different brand details.

I just bought a sleeping bag from the re/supply and feel like I got scammed. It said it was 269 new and was marked down to 100 with no flaws. I found a yellow stain on it when I got home and realized the product hadn’t been sold in stores in over 13 years. The sleeping bag itself is 20 years old.
I called to see if I could get store credit/exchange and they were very condescending and firm. If they were more honest on the tag- such as writing “product is discontinued” I wouldn’t have bought it. Instead they made me believe I was getting a deal. I should have done this research in the store but I trusted their return policy wouldn’t allow a 20 year old product to be in re/supply.
They’ve lost a loyal customer.

Staff at ski and bike repair were fantastic! Had bindings mounted onto skis. They provided information an about the entire process. Also, brought in bike for maintenance. The technician put my bike on rack while I waited and checked out brakes, chain, cables, tires and determined that everything looked fine. He cleaned chain and gear shifter. All this at no cost.

Really huge flagship store. Can spend a lot of time looking at all the collection they have. They have good stock of items too.
Friendly staff and a gorgeous space.

This REI has exceptional customer service!
A tip for anyone who orders online in Denver make sure to call after your order and have them deliver with USPS, occasionally they use the vendor OnTrac. OnTrac delivered $2,300 worth of gear I paid for to the wrong door, not the locked gated area where my packages are delivered (lived here 1.5 years, never had a package put on the public facing back doorstep). The order was of course stolen in less than an hour. I called REI and was able to prove the incorrect delivery/police report and they replaced my order. I picked it up in person in time for a weeklong trip in the Sierras (see pics in said gear).
Also highly recommend boot fitting with Claire!
I love backpacking, skiing, etc all the usual Denver stuff and I am entirely outfitted by this REI and have been going there consistently for ten years. Every staff member I’ve ever interacted with, including every manager after this recent incident, has been so kind and knowledgeable. 10/10– they have my business for life.
Amazing garage sale (I think rebranded to resale) section too.
