At REI, we love to get outside and play, and we know first-hand the importance of quality outdoor gear. We stand behind all our products with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and we design our own line of award-winning REI brand gear and clothing. Whether you're new to outdoor adventure or a seasoned pro, we gladly share our enthusiasm for our products--and the trails, slopes and waterways where we play.
Have always loved REI, this one keeps getting worse. Shoe department is extremely rude and refused to help us x4 times when we asked. Once I finally pinned a girl (the guys kept walking by us avoiding eye contact when we asked anything) she was helpful however they were out of stock. Each time I've been this year the hike side has gotten worse. The ski/climb side remains super friendly and helpful!

We went into REI looking for a winter coat and rain boots, but unfortunately no one was willing to help us. Most of the staff were too busy trying to straighten stuff except for the guy in the shoe department super friendly and was very nice and helpful. The girl in the shoe department, however, seemed confused and didn’t really know what was going on. I had just given our dog a bath before we went, but walking on the cement floors turned his white paws gray.
Spare yourself some time and go straight to Scheels instead of REI. They’ve really lost their touch when it comes to customer service.

Chris was hard selling the membership. Very annoying to deal with at the register. Tell
him to tone it down and have better customer service.

Found a pair of climbing shoes for $99 first pair ever I can upgrade later if needed, I'm just learning. Also signed up for the membership and got a $30 gift card which pays for the membership and that will be used for a new harness 😄

Brought my service dog in training with me with her in training vest on and a male employee was very unfriendly with me about her. You would think an outdoor store in Colorado would be fine with dogs. He told me the other employees would be mad at me. Service dog training requires that you bring your dog everywhere with you so it can lean appropriate public behaviors. She was excellent and well behaved, but the male employee glared at me several times. Guess I'll just go to Scheels and Dicks from now on. Bummer that service dogs in training aren't welcome at REI.
